The school's Founder, Mr. R.V. Gardner, is deeply religious and turns to prayer for every concern. He begins and ends each day praying for his family, school, staff, students, and more. He believes that prayers through the Novena of St. Jude were often answered. St. Jude, a cousin of Jesus, became known as the Patron Saint of Hopeless Cases. Because of Mr. Gardner's faith, he named his son Jude and dedicated the school to St. Jude’s honor.
