This temple is unique in having Lord Hanuman face his Lord, Rama, whom he worshiped.Thousands of Rama and Hanuman devotees still attend the temple, chanting Hanuman Chalisa and Sundarkand (also provided in the form of a booklet in the temple for free). Following the 2006 terrorist incident, a permanent police post was established inside the temple. Many astrologers claim that worshiping Hanuman will neutralize the Mangal (Mars) ill-effect and nearly every planet that has an ill impact on human existence.
