Raghunathji Temple (additionally called Tirukantamenum Kadi Nagar) in Devprayag, a journey town in Tehri Garhwal area in Himalayas in the North Indian province of Uttarakhand, is committed to Vishnu. It is found 73 km from Rishikesh on the Rishikesh–Badrinath roadway. Developed in the Deula style, the sanctuary is celebrated in the Divya Prabandha, the early archaic Tamil ordinance of the Azhwar holy people from the sixth ninth hundreds of years AD. It is one of the 108 Divyadesam devoted to Vishnu, who is revered as Raghunathji and his associate Lakshmi as Sita. The sanctuary was initially accepted to have been set up by Adi Shankara during the eighth century, with later developments by the Garhwal Kingdom. The sanctuary is found uphill on the juncture of the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi waterways, which becomes River Ganga thusly.
