It is one of the best temple in Lucknow. Chandrika Devi Temple is the best place to go on a spiritual journey with yourself. This is a beautiful temple made on the bank of Gomati river. As per the sayings, this temple is established by Rajkumar Chandraketu, the son of Lakshman Ji. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Chandrika who is said to be a manifestation of Goddess Parvati. There is huge murti (statue) of Lord Shiva between the middle of a water pool to greet you on the way in to the temple. The best time to visit this temple is to come here on the new moon or during Navaratri, as there is huge fair is organised for the people visiting.
