About Us
The All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) at Gorakhpur, is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. It follows the directions of all other AIIMS to become a leading health center and a center of excellence in medical education technology (MET) in the country. AIIMS, Gorakhpur, will provide student-centered, problem-based and experiential learning to the students. It emphasizes interpersonal and communication skills, professionalism, systems-based practice, hands-on learning, and patient care and medical knowledge, which is something that is not practiced outside the country. The institution implements anti-ragging policies for freshmen and junior students who are negatively affected by this situation. In addition, the institution established a central library in 2019, which has more than 500 books on medical subjects. A central canteen for both boys and girls with clean and hygienic food for students and some recreational facilities for students' growth.
